More rain on the way and some cooler temperatures moving in.
The fish have been feeding hard on corixa, daphnia, buzzers and bloodworm. Fish are showing both high in the water and deeper down to suite a multitude of methods.
A spread of fish is now apparent at chew although the hotspot is still in and around the dam area.
Blagdon has been good although the fish are still holding in the dam basin.
Fresh fish going into the lakes over the next day or two. 2000 to chew, 1000 to Blagdon with 800 fish being stocked at Barrows on Monday and yesterday.
Overcast conditions forecast tomorrow should see some fish up on top. Red and olive buzzers showing daily on the lakes.
Pike fly fishing still producing some respectable catches at Chew in recent days.
